Banking Services

Ratepayers may pay for Municipal Services at the Township Office with Interac and post-dated cheques. Telephone Banking for taxes and water has also been arranged with all major banks for your convenience. Anyone paying by telephone or Internet must enter their current tax roll number. Please do not include the first 4 digits (47-66) when setting up your account. If you are paying for more than one roll number, you must enter each roll number separately. Taxes and Water can also be paid in person at the Bank of Nova Scotia or at the Municipal Office.

Pet Tags

Pet tags are available at the Municipal Office and are discounted until March 31, of each year
Sterilized pets $15.00 Unsterilized pets $20.00, after March 31st they are $10.00 more

Recycling 

  • Blue (black) boxes are available at the Township Office, at a cost of $6.50 per box.
  • Green Organic Carts are available at the Township Office, at a cost of $47.00 (small, 140l cart).
  • Green Organic Carts are available at the Township Office, at a cost of $76.80 (large, 240l cart).
  • The Yellow Triple R cans are available at the Township Office, at a cost of $13.50 per can. 

Civic Address signs can be ordered by contacting the municipal office. The green sign blades are available at cost, $10.00 and posts are also available, $10.00. If you are constructing a new home, the sign fees are added to the building permit fees at the time of issuance.

911- Remember to dial 9-1-1 in an emergency to contact Police, Fire and Ambulance. DO NOT USE THE OLD EMERGENCY NUMBERS.
