Tipping Fees

Fees are calculated on the weight (tonnage) and type of material being disposed of. Effective January 1, 2008, the tipping fees for customers residing in the partnership Municipality of Laurentian Valley will be as follows:

Recyclable Material (containers & Fibre) free free
Leaf & Yard (residential) free free
Scrap Metal free free
Landfill $70.00 per tonne  
Differential Fee for Unsorted Loads (Effective May 1, 2008) $100.00 per tonne $10.00 minimum
Construction & Demolition - Separated
(Brush, Concrete, Drywall, Raw Wood, Shingles)
$55.00 per tonne  
Commercial Organic Material
(Commercial Leaf & Yard Waste - No Plastic)
$55.00 per tonne $10.00 minimum
Residential Organic Material $55.00 per tonne  
Hydrocarbon Contaminated Soils (pre-approved only) $22.00 per tonne  
Bulk Tires (10 or more) and industrial & agricultural tires $210.00  
Passenger & light truck tires (less than 20") $2.50 rim off, $5.00 rim on

The Landfill Site and the Waste Recovery Center are open from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday to Saturday inclusive, with the exception of Saturdays during the months of December, January, February and March when the site is open from 7:30 A.M. to 12 noon only.
