TOWNSHIP OF LAURENTIAN VALLEY In the matter of Sections 51(20)(a) and (b), and 51(21) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended, the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley hereby gives NOTICE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Location of Subject Lands Description of Application No application for zoning by-law amendment has yet been filed with the Township of Laurentian Valley, however an amendment to the Township’s Zoning By-law will be required as a condition of draft plan of subdivision approval. Additional Information and Notification of Decision If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the County of Renfrew in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority (being the County) gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the County of Renfrew to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the County of Renfrew in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the County of Renfrew in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the County of Renfrew as identified below: Subdivision: Charles Cheesman, Manager of Planning Services, County of Renfrew PLEASE NOTE that one of the purposes of the Planning Act is to provide for planning processes that are open, accessible, timely and efficient. Accordingly, all written submissions, documents, correspondence, e-mails or other communications (including your name and address) form part of the public record and will be disclosed/made available by the Township and/or the County to such persons as the Township and/or the County deem appropriate, including anyone requesting such information. Accordingly, in providing any such information, you shall be deemed to have consented to its use and disclosure as part of the planning process.
