To approve the General and Road Accounts in the amount of $671,651.93. CARRIED.

WHEREAS, the P.L.C. at their August 28th, 2000 meeting recommended that the Township of Laurentian Valley tender and award a Contract for supply and installation of a chain link fence at the Alice & Fraser Landfill Site to facilitate the implementation of a Material Recovery Facility, a Composting Facility and a Garage/Administration Facility;
AND WHEREAS, the Township of Laurentian Valley wish to reaffirm it’s commitment to the implementation of new and enhanced waste diversion and supporting facilities;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Township of Laurentian Valley call a tender for the supply and installation of a chain link fence and double swing gate in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by J.L. Richards & Associates Limited. Tenders to close September 19th, 2000.

That the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley accept Tender T-00-09 for the Supply, Treatment & Stockpile Screened Winter Sand from R.G.T. Clouthier in the amount of $8,204.70. CARRIED.

That Council approve Payment Certificate No. 1, in the amount of $97,987.91, to Do-All Construction and Payment Certificate No. 2, in the amount of $22,248.88 to Weisteinde Construction Ltd. and Payment Certificate No. 2 in the amount of $40,232.22 to Miller Waste Systems on behalf of the Alice & Fraser Waste Management Facility. CARRIED.
