By-Law Number 01-05-87, being a By-Law to regulate fences around privately owned swimming pools in the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley and to repeal By-law Number 63-01-99 of the former Townships of Stafford and Pembroke and By-Law Number 77-471, as amended, of the former Township of Alice & Fraser was given three readings and passed on a motion by Rick O’Brien and Jim Sheedy. By-Law Number 01-05-88, being a By-Law to establish annual rates for street light maintenance, management of the work and the cost of the utility supplied in the Township of Laurentian Valley and to repeal By-Law Number 92-5, 92-6, 93-6 and 98-39 of the former Township of Alice & Fraser and all By-Laws establishing the annual street lighting maintenance and management rates for the former Township of Pembroke, the former Township of Stafford and/or the former Corporation of the Municipality of the Townships of Stafford and Pembroke was given three readings and passed on a motion by Kellard Witt and Jim Sheedy. By-Law Number 01-05-89, being a By-Law to acquire certain lands for drainage purposes was given three readings and passed on a motion by Jim Sheedy and Dennis Gauthier. By-Law Number 01-05-90, being a By-Law to provide for the stopping up and closing of Part of the Reserve for street, Plan 26, designated as Parts 1, 2 and 3 on 49R-14206 and being Part of PIN 57141-0148, geographic Township of Pembroke, now in the Township of Laurentian Valley, County of Renfrew, described in Schedule “A” and for the conveyance of those parts to the adjoining land owner thereof, in exchange for the conveyance of an easement to the Township over Part of Lot 26 and 27, Block N, Plan 26, being Part 2 on 49R-14161, in the geographic Township of Pembroke, now in the Township of Laurentian Valley, County of Renfrew, described in Schedule “B” was given three readings and passed on a motion by Dennis Gauthier and Rick O’Brien.
