  Whereas on January 16th, 2001, Council passed a resolution which reads;
  “Whereas, Section 3 of By-Law Number 00-08-57, “Open Air Burning By-Law” reads in part;
  3.  Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1 hereof, the Chief Fire Official may, upon application, approve the setting of any fire subject to the fire being supervised by the Fire Chief of the Tri-Township Fire Department or his/her designate.
  Therefore, be it resolved that during the time frame of November 15th to March 15th, the Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy Chief Administrative Officer be a designate for the Chief Fire Official for the purpose of amending burning permits.”
  And whereas the winter snow cover season of 2001 is extended;

  BY-LAWS

  By-Law Number 01-04-79, being a By-Law to amend By-Law Number 98-32 of the former Township of Alice & Fraser which authorized the execution of an agreement for the contribution of costs toward the completion of a study in order to obtain the necessary approvals for the expansion and operation of the former Corporation of the Township of Alice & Fraser’s Landfill Site now the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley’s Landfill Site over the long term and for the costs of defining a waste utilization and diversion system and for the establishment of a joint Board of Management for the operation of the Landfill Site over the long term, and to authorize the execution of an amending agreement (“Amending Agreement”) with respect to the Inter-Municipal Agreement (the “Inter-Municipal Agreement”) dated October 15th, 1998, including Schedule “A” thereto was given three readings and passed on a motion by Kellard Witt and Rick O’Brien.

  By-Law Number 01-04-80, being a By-Law to repeal By-Law Number 00-04-36 of the Township of Laurentian Valley and to appoint a Weed Inspector for the Township of Laurentian Valley was given three readings and passed on a motion by Jim Sheedy and Steve Bennett.

  By-Law Number 01-04-81, being a By-Law for regulating the conditions of employment of Officers and Staff of the Municipality and to repeal By-Law Number 00-01-04 was given three readings and passed on a motion by Dennis Gauthier and Allan Wren.

  By-Law Number 01-04-82, being a By-Law to provide for the remuneration of appointed Officials and Employees of the Municipality and to repeal By-Law Number 01-03-76 was given three readings and passed on a motion by Jim Sheedy and Steve Bennett.
