Recreational Burning Permits
Recreational Burning Permits must be obtained from the Township Municipal Office and are valid for a period of one (1) year as specified on the permit when issued. The permit can only be issued to a property owner or if you are not the property owner, you must provide a signed authorization from the property owner authorizing you to obtain a burning permit for the property. The following outlines the conditions under which a Recreational Burning Permit can be issued by the Township of Laurentian Valley. Burning Safety Plan for Burning Permit
By submittining a completed Burning Safety Plan Form, along with the required fee of $25.00, a person may apply to the Fire Chief of the Township of Laurentian Valley for permit with exceptions from the regulations associated with either an Open Burning Permit or a Recreational Burning Permit. It should be noted that should the Fire Chief not support the request, the application fee is non-refundable.
