Links to Information on the Eastern Warden's Caucus Broadband Projects

There are many different broadband projects currently underway that have an impact on the Laurentian Valley area.  One project is the LVP Broadband Initiative Laurentian Valley & Petawawa, which received funding through OMAFRA's Rural Connections Program and was a partnership with Bell Aliant to bring high speed internet to many unserviced areas of Laurentian Valley and Petawawa.   While this project is coming to an end, there are still other projects underway which may impact some of the remaining unserviced areas of the community.

Once such project is the Eastern Ontario Broadband Network (EOBN), which is now underway and which is an initiative of the Eastern Ontario Warden Caucus (EOWC) .  The EOBN is funded through a Federal & Provincial partnership that has made this significant project a reality.  More information on the EOBN is available at the EORN website and the EOWC website at www.eowc.org
