Cllr Debbie Robinson is serving her second term as a Council Member for the Township of Laurentian Valley.

Cllr Robinson serves as Chair of Council's Public Services & Programs Standing Committee, represents the municipality as one of the members of the Joint Recreation Committee with the City of Pembroke, serves as liaison between the municipality and the Shady Nook Recreation Association and also serves as a member of Council's Planning & Development Standing Committee.

Cllr Robinson heads up Council's Strategic Planning Committee, and is responsible for spearheading the implementation of the 2010 to 2015 Strategic Plan. Cllr Robinson also chairs the Pembroke & Area Physician Recruitment Committee, tasked with recruiting physicians to work in the local area.

Cllr Robinson is the Editor of the Cobden Sun and resides in Laurentian Valley with her husband Dale and 2 children.
