WHEREAS, Section 15 of the Municipal Tax Sales Act, 1984, S.O., Chapter 48 permits a By-Law to be passed to establish a scale of costs to be charges as the reasonable costs of proceedings under the Act; 

1. That the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Laurentian Valley hereby establishes the scale of costs as set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this By-Law pursuant to Section 15 of the Municipal Tax Sales Act, 1984.
    
2. That, in lieu of charging the Municipality’s actual costs in determining any cancellation price, the scale of costs as set out in Schedule "A" shall be charges as the reasonable costs of proceedings under the Act.
    
3. That By-Law Number 848-06-90 of the (former) Township of Stafford and By-Law Number 617-06-90 of the (former) Township of Pembroke and all other By-Laws, or parts of By-Laws, contrary to the provisions set forth herein are now herewith repealed.
    
4. This By-Law shall come into force and take effect on the day of the final passing thereof.
